Researcher looking for current or former, clinic or private, Australian sperm donors

Have you ever been A SPERM DONOR?

We need your help - Reproductive research into the psychological and emotional welfare of parents and offspring is well documented, however the impact on sperm donors is lacking. In an effort to consider the impact of sperm donation from a donor's perspective, this research aims to engage with historical and current donors in a 1/2 hour interview to explore the impact of donating from the donor's perspective.

If you have donated sperm in the reproductive process of assisting infertile couples achieve their dream of becoming parents then we would like to explore the impact, if any, that the process of donation has had on your life.

The research will maintain the rights of individual donors to remain anonymous and will not seek or publish information pertaining to the identity of either donors or offspring. Interviews are to be either in person or by phone.

This study has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee, approval number HR129/2011.
